Life-long learning and enjoyment with
like minded people in a friendly environment

The purpose of the u3a is to encourage life-long learning for people who are no longer in full time employment. We share our knowledge and skills and take pleasure in shared interests and experiences with friends new and old. The u3a offers learning activities in small groups which reflect members' wishes and aims to cover a very wide range of subjects; educational, recreational, cultural, physical and social. In addition we support the local community and charities and support each other in times of need.

There you will find lots of interesting reports and information on activities from Spanish language to walking, cinema to wine appreciation, bridge to dining. Or come and join us at the next General Assembly which are held monthly to hear more and meet other members.

The u3a is open to everyone in the community of all nationalities and our meetings are held in English.
