At our September General Assembly in Murla we held a shorr formal meeting followed by a wonderful celebration with Chris commenting what a great achievement for our u3a to have reached it’s 20th Anniversary.

In March 2006 we retired and moved to Spain. As we settled in we started to explore this part of Spain, which we had never visited before. Six months later the U3A was formed, we attended the first meeting and became members 8 and 9. Our main reason for joining the group was to take advantage of the Travel opportunities.
As many of you will know we celebrated our Association’s 20th anniversary at our General Assembly on September 3rd. This was a lovely occasion, with a full house and a great atmosphere. You will find a detailed account of the celebration plus photographs later in this newsletter.
130 u3a members and friends and supporters of Paws joined us in our garden on Friday 26th June for a summer bbq in support of Paws Xalo dog rescue and u3a Goodwill, 2 charities close to our hearts.
What a wonderful summer party we had on Thursday 18th June in Murla with the fabulous Entertainers performing for us.
